A Practical Approach to Strengthening Your IB Programme

FLIBS is offering a series of workshops aimed at practical implementation of successful IB Programmes, led and created by our most esteemed and experienced leaders. We offer meaningful PD experiences for each IB Programme—as well as some for multi-programmes and regional associations. FLIBS is proud to host our second FLIBS Professional Development Symposium/Workshop in February 2023.

*** While these topical workshops are not IB generated or authorized all sessions will be led by expert IB practitioners and workshop leaders with years of experience working with IB schools across the Americas region.

Preparation

Participants should bring ideas to share, including photocopies of handouts. Be prepared to present concerns and solutions from your program with the group.

Travel & Accommodations

Workshop participants are expected to make their own travel and hotel reservations. All sessions are held at The Tradewinds Island Grand Resort, 5500 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. We encourage participants to take advantage of the special group rates FLIBS secures with the resort. To secure the FLIBS group rate, you must book your room by the hotel reservation deadline for this workshop. Otherwise, all hotel reservations are subject to higher room rates.

The TradeWinds does offer a shuttle service for transportation to/from Tampa International Airport. Transportation fees vary depending on how many people are in your group. The shuttle ride can be paid by cash or card at time of pickup. You may also choose to use:
