Resources

Associations of IB World Schools are a vast and rich resource for schools that are authorized and those considering application and authorization as an IB school. The Florida League of IB Schools was one of the first formal IB associations of its kind and has been active at the district, state and governmental levels in raising awareness of IB.

Whether it is through our work with the Florida state legislature, the Florida Department of Education, or the opportunities for professional development we provide, FLIBS sets the standard for all IB associations. One of the most important benefits that comes with FLIBS membership is access to all of the resources and experience that are the result of over three decades of work with the IB.

Find an IB World School

According to the IBO website, “the IB has a presence in over 150 countries/territories and over 5,000 IB World Schools worldwide, and is globally renowned for excellence. The various programmes offered are designed to develop well-rounded individuals who can respond to today’s challenges with optimism and an open mind. IB programmes enable teachers to develop resilient, self-motivated young people who have the knowledge, skills, and sense of purpose they need to thrive throughout their lives and contribute to making the world a better place.”
